Somewhere in Time
Filmed at Grand Hotel and throughout Mackinac Island, this time traveling love story has become a classic. Film fans will tour sites throughout Grand Hotel and Mackinac Island where filming took place as well as meet with invited cast and crew. This season, the one and only Jane Seymour will be on hand for the festivities.
Festivities
Mackinac Island hosts a great Halloween celebration. The Island's pubs offer Halloween parties and prizes for the best costumes. Shops offer great discounts as they prepare to close for the season and yes, the Haunted Theatre will help to scare the beejeebers out of you and yours!

Hotel's Labor Day Jazz Festival and their Big Band Extravaganza weekend in mid October. World renown musicians
and the excellence offered by Grand makes these weekends
unforgettable. Island pubs offer great entertainment nightly throughout the fall season.
Art The
Murray Hotel has several great painting weekends
planned for the artist in all of us. Be sure to visit Island art galleries to add to your salon in true Victorian style or to begin your collection.
Activities
Sail the straits of Mackinac on the Mackinaw
Breeze catamaran through mid September, view the colors of the north county as you hike through Mackinac Island State Park or sign up for the Great Turtle Run, one of the most beautiful courses in America.
