About Ferry Transportation All ferry companies offer scheduled daily departures from Mackinaw City and St. Ignace from May through October. Off Season Ferry Service
Arnold Transit Company continues service from St. Ignace from November through January closing only for winter weather and reopening once the ice breaks generally in early April.
