July 1 Around the Island Yacht Race presented by the Pink Pony and the Mackinac Island Yacht Club. Skippers meeting at 12:30pm at Mackinac Island Yacht Club, race begins at 2pm. All those with sailboats invited to race, contact Mackinac Island Yacht Club to enter.
August 5th 7th Annual Mackinac Island Fun & Games Horseshow at Great Turtle Park presented by the Mackinac Horsemen's Association.
August 12th 37th Annual Mackinac Island Horse Show at Great Turtle Park presented by the Mackinac Horsemen's Association. Events include showmanship & grooming, leadline & costume class, bareback, walk/trot, english & western equitation, over fence barrel racing and tailgate party, Mackinac Island style.
