Around the Island Swim with Kathy Bradshaw Kathy Bradshaw grew up in Niles, Michigan and is coming to Mackinac Island to add the straits of Mackinac to her impressive roster of open water swimming events. She has navigated the waters from San Francisco Bay to Alcatraz and in New York City's Manhattan Island Marathon Swim. She will swim solo around the entire Island and raises money for charities that work to support "Learn to Swim" programs.
