Women from across the state of Michigan gather on beautiful Mackinac Island for this unique event to celebrate friendships, health, shopping and of course… a little wine. Art shows, to captivating wellness seminars, yoga, spa days, fabulous shopping and so much more will await you.
The 2018 Women’s Wellness and a Wee Bit of Wine Weekend is coming up October 19-21. Over 100 women from across the state of Michigan join us on beautiful Mackinac Island for this unique event to celebrate friendships, health, shopping and of course… a little wine. Art shows, to captivating wellness seminars, yoga, spa days, fabulous shopping and so much more will await you. Even more, the weekend retreat allows you to experience the island with likeminded women and discover more of your inner-self. It’s about making new friendships, creating lasting memories and just having a GREAT time!
Most importantly, the Women’s Wellness Weekend benefits the Mackinac Island Community Foundation Cancer Fund.
Tickets are $75 and include all events for the weekend.
Travel, meals and accommodations are not included in ticket price.
All proceeds benefit the Mackinac Island Cancer Fund.

Saturday morning’s topics we will be lead by Jenna Kator of Jenna Kator Collection. She will present about owning and operating her successful business of handbags and accessories.
Karen R. Palmer of Pathway to Health will speak Saturday afternoon. Palmer is a certified Natural Health Professional, Certified Wellness Director, Certified Weight Loss Coach, and a licensed Biofeedback Specialist, and offers Natural Health Alternatives. She will be doing a food detox demonstration and speak on how to implement natural health strategies.

Jenna Kator graduated from Michigan State University and worked in the auto industry in advertising until the economic downturn when she lost her job. Jenna took the opportunity to go after her lifelong dream of being an entrepreneur and began showcasing her collection of quality handbags that fulfilled the need for an affordable price point.

1:00-2:30 PM – Presentation by Karen R. Palmer, N.D.
Owner of Pathway to Health. Karen is a Certified Natural Health Professional, Licensed Biofeedback Specialist, Certified Wellness Director, and Certified Weight Loss Coach. She will share natural health alternatives and do a foot detox demonstration.
4:00-5:00 PM – Cooking with Chef Mike Strickler Culinary Chef at Gordon Foods.
(Non-registered participants will be charged a $35.00 fee for the event)
Mike has over 15 years of leadership experience as a Certified executive chef within independent restaurants, colleges and universities. He has been employed with Gordon Food Service for 6 years. A a culinary specialist his core scope of responsibilities include, ground level food trend research, menu gap analysis and increasing operational efficiencies with in the kitchen.
