Biking on the island is a must! It’s the easiest way to traverse the islands downtown and lakefront, but also find your own path through the many paved pathways that cross the island. But in the event the weather is less agreeable, there are a number of indoor options! Arrange for a horse drawn taxi to take you to one or more of these great destinations/attractions. And by all means, take photos during your rainy day.
BIKE RENTALS
Bikes will take you to all the islands more distant reaches. British Landing, on the northern side of the Jewel is a perfect spot for a break and a quick bite. Trek to the island’s airport, and watch the planes take off and land. Find the bluffs, and take photos facing the Mackinac Bridge. And take and share memories, using the hashtag #mymackinac.
