Event Details

Make two pieces of silver jewelry in two evenings, even if you have never worked with silver before! The magic is PMC, Precious Metal Clay, a pliable, putty-like compound containing pure silver powder. In the first evening, you will learn how to work with the PMC, create a small silver charm & use a portable torch; during the second, you will produce a pendant or bead or how to make molds for PMC. Both pieces will be completely fired, polished and ready to wear when you leave this workshop. Those who are familiar with PMC+ silver will have the opportunity to work independently, though the amount of silver clay will be the same. Please bring some natural, textural objects, such as pieces of driftwood. Molds are durable and can be used over and over again. Rosemary E. Gould is a Certified PMC Instructor. All materials included.
