Put on your dancing shoes and join in the fun nightly on Mackinac Island. The Grand Hotel’s Terrace Room invites all to dance with Alex Graham and Grand Hotel Orchestra nightly starting at 9:30pm. The dress code must be observed, men in suits and ties, women in their finest and this along with the jazz orchestra makes for a glamorous night out.
A large variety of music is found downtown from Rock, Folk, Piano and DJ. Enter any of our establishments and find the one that suits your ear.
In addition, several of the Island pubs bring in DJs periodically throughout the summer. The best way to find out what is happening nightly, is to stop by the Mackinac Island Tourism Bureau on Main Street or pick up the Mackinac Island Town Crier newspaper for up to date happenings.
For those interested in Irish dance and want to learn more about the irish culture and identity, the Ardan Academy of Irish Dance offer a free workshop during the annual Lilac Festival in addition to performing at A Taste of Mackinac each June.
