Civil War at Mackinac

In the summer of 1862 Fort Mackinac held a new title: political prison. Join reenactors portraying the “Stanton Guard,” the company mustered to guard the prisoners, as they present special programming throughout the weekend at the fort. A detailed schedule will be posted soon. All special programs are included with regular admission to Fort Mackinac. A Mackinac Parks: 125 event!
