We found this secret overlook off Tranquil Bluff Trail. I always want to hike when we visit Mackinac Island, but you can cover a lot more territory on bikes.
Tranquil Bluff Trail is a hiking trail that follows the bluff and runs parallel with Leslie Avenue. Some parts are a little treacherous, and you don't want to get too close to the edge! It's still accessible if you do want to bike and then hop off to check out the views of Lake Huron. So worth it! What's even better is we never see very many people on this bike/hike trail. It's a nice change of pace from the hustle and bustle of Main Street!
