Our first trip to Mackinac Island 💙
🛥 Rode Shepler’s Ferry to and from St. Ignace. Parking, check-in, boarding, and the ride were incredibly easy!
🏡 Stayed 2 nights at The Mackinac House - cannot say enough good things about this place!
⛳️ Played a round of mini golf at The Greens of Mackinac
🚲 Rented bikes to ride the 8.2 mile highway - stops included Arch Rock, Devil’s Kitchen, and The Butterfly House, and lunch at Watercolor Café
🐴 Private horse carriage tour with Gough Livery
🛝 Played at Marquette Park
🛍 Walked through alllllll the shops and ate lots of sweets
We will definitely be returning at some point and staying longer than 2 nights!

One of the best parts of visiting Mackinac is, you're never a stranger for very long. 💙
When you see a squirrel but your parents are trying to get married.

It makes sense that we include pets in our wedding days when they give us so much support on regular days.
They have no idea what's going on (if your hair looks good, or the flowers are right) but they're just happy to be with you and that's the kind of energy wedding days need.
Ivory was a sweety all morning through the ceremony. missionpointresort, where the wedding took place, is dog friendly, so the couple arranged for a relative to babysit her in the hotel room during the reception.
There are some extra considerations to consider when including your pets, but it can be so worth the lifelong memories they'll be part of.

I am so happy to have finally finished this drawing!
It was much more difficult and time consuming than I thought it would be, but I can confidently say that I did it and did it well😊
All of the small buildings and windows in the background and small details in the landscape really pushed my limits. Overall I think it’s important to push boundaries to make yourself better✍️
