2026 Mackinac Island Winter Season

While our main tourism season is May – October, Mackinac Island is indeed open year round. But, the hearty few that visit find a completely different Mackinac Island experience, which is unlike the spring, summer or fall travel season. This is a time to enjoy the quiet beauty of the island – hike, ski, snowshoe, take beautiful pictures and read a good book. Below you will find winter information for the 2025-2026 season.
