Historic Downtown Mackinac Opens for the Season

Watch a blacksmith demonstrate his or her trade at the Benjamin Blacksmith Shop, see the historic McGulpin House, and learn about Dr. Beaumont and his famous experiments at the American Fur Company Store. Celebrate 200 years of Mackinac’s medical miracle with a brand new exhibit in the Dr. Beaumont Museum, located within the American Fur Co. Store.
