Island Time: A Poetry Writing Workshop

Open to both poets and brand new writers alike, this workshop will explore themes of Mackinac Island’s history, people, and natural beauty. Issa M. Lewis will lead participants in writing exercises in both formal poetry and free verse, developing poems that can then be shared with the group for feedback. The workshop will conclude with a reading in which each participant will share his or her best piece of the day.
