Mackinac Center for the Arts

Mackinac Arts Council has a home at the Center for the Arts thanks to the ongoing generosity of the Ware Family and Mission Point Resort. The center is adjacent to the tower at Mission Point just off Main Street as you head east out of town.

Located in the former Mission Point Theater building, the Center for the Arts includes a 550-seat historic theater, gallery, and administrative offices. We hold programs at many other locations throughout the island, and in collaboration with Mackinac State Historic Parks, present free weekly summer concerts in Marquette Park beneath historic Fort Mackinac and art workshops are held at the Richard and Jane Manoogian Mackinac Art Museum located in Marquette Park.

You can visit our gallery and theater during regular daytime hours all summer long to see art exhibits. Admission to the gallery is free, but donations are welcome.
