After admiring the front of Island House Hotel, make your way to the back where you’ll find beautiful plants, soft music, and a trickling water feature at Ice House BBQ on Mackinac Island.

Harbour View Inn on Mackinac Island

Enjoy the peacefulness of Mackinac Island’s Harbour View Inn. The flowers up front are something to see but they also have a gazebo, gardens, and boast some of the oldest lilac trees on Mackinac Island.

  • East Bluff Private Gardens Enjoy views and gardens from East Bluff. These impressive private gardens are viewable from the road but please remember to respect private properties and homes.

 

  • Trilliums, Wildflowers and Botanical Trail Did you know that Mackinac Island is 80% State Park? Taking a stroll on one of the interior trails will yield some beautiful and natural finds. Be sure to visit the Mackinac Island Botanical Trail located behind Fort Mackinac.
