Built over a century ago in 1891, Bay View on Mackinac Island still celebrates her original family heritage in the Grand Victorian style that is truly Mackinac. Beautifully positioned on the bay, Bay View is the only B&B of her type and style resting on the water’s edge. Each guest room will embrace you with its own unique seascape, while our second story sundeck boasts an incredible view of the straits of Mackinac.

Pine Cottage

Pine Cottage was built in 1870 and was one of the first hotels on the Island, tucked along quiet Bogan Lane. Over the years it has welcomed some famous visitors through it's doors - the baseball player, Ty Cobb, was a guest - staying for his honeymoon, and Ernest Hemingway is known to have stayed as well. Today the Pine Cottage is run as a bed and breakfast and holds true to it's original charm with rustic Victorian ambience. You will still find the steam radiators and antique clawfoot tubs from the original hotel.

Each room is uniquely different offering one double bed or two double beds, with private or shared baths. There is also a suite that can accommodate up to ten people with two queen beds, six twin beds, a living room and small kitchen. Amenities include air conditioning, cable t.v., complimentary breakfast and afternoon tea.

Cloghaun

Cloghaun is one of the oldest Victorian homes on the Island. Thomas and Bridget Donnelly left Ireland in 1848, and completed Cloghaun in 1884. This lovely home has been preserved by their descendants and now offers guests a tranquil, romantic interlude from the demands of everyday life.

Bogan Lane Inn

Their house was built in the mid-1850s during the period when the Mackinac Island fishing industry was expanding. The industry was developed by the many Irish families who came as a result of the potato famine. The home was left vacant for a period of about forty years, ending when a new foundation, heating system and bathrooms were installed in 1957.
