2021 Mackinac Island Lilac Festival
Mackinac Island is celebrating its 73rd Annual Lilac Festival, June 4 through 13, 2021. It’s the first and largest summer event on the Island, attracting thousands of visitors. Festivities for the 10-day festival include the coronation of the Lilac Festival Queen and Court, Lilac Festival Run/Walk, Mackin-Paws Dog Celebration, the Lilac Festival Grand Stationary Parade and much more.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: Here is the most up to date schedule of events for the Lilac Festival. Every event is subject to change and will be updated regularly. Please continue to check back for more details as this event gets closer.
GRAND STATIONARY PARADE: This year’s Grand Parade will look a little different. We are planning on a Grand Stationary Parade where the acts stay and the people move. It’s similar to an art fair and will promote movement and social distancing. This is scheduled from 1-4 pm on Sunday, June 13th. If you’d like to participate e in the 2021 Grand Stationary Parade please fill out this application form.
MACKIN-PAWS PARADE: Celebrate your furry friend during the all-day Mackin-Paw celebration. Dress your pup (and yourself!) in your best costume celebrating this year’s theme Legends and Lore of Mackinac Island. The parade is Saturday, June 12th at 11:30 am at Windermere Point. Participants must fill out this registration form and return to the Mackinac Island Tourism Bureau ahead of time.
