Mackinac Island is indeed open year ‘round. But, the hearty few that visit find a completely different Mackinac Island to experience, which is unlike the spring, summer or fall travel season. This makes it the perfect getaway for those who want a much slower pace-so that it’s easier to get quiet, hang out and enjoy the company of friends, family and the great outdoors.

Due to Covid-19, our winter events look a little different this year. Please be sure to check this page for any changes or updates.

Please keep in mind that there are no public restrooms available throughout the winter season.
